Eric Bunker had attached an Excel spreadsheet to his recent message to the
list, in response to the requests for his audit form.
I remind the list that we do not permit attachments on LDSClerks, because
of potential problems with viruses and the fact that spammers often use
attachments.
Probably the best work-around is to upload them to the files area of the
Yahoo Groups version of LDSClerks (see
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ldsclerks/<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ldscl
erks/> ), You can also upload them to any
other website you would like and post the location here on the list.
The software that runs LDSClerks specifically filters out attachments (and
messages that have formatting) and sends them to me for approval --
requiring a bit of my very valuable time. I remove the attachments and
formatting before sending the messages to the list. Since this delays the
messages appearing on the list, I recommend that you don't attach anything
to messages sent to LDSClerks and that you send messages in plain text
only.
