Subject: LDSC: Sacrament Meeting guidelines
Last Sunday I attended a ward outside of my normal area. Before
begining to talk, the last speaker began to set things on the podium.
There was the familiar Christus statue and some figures of families.
The speaker pointed to them during the talk about genealogy
and temple work.
I have always been taught that you do not put up statues or use visual
aids during talks in sacrament meettings. I can't imagine
someone making a PowerPoint Sacrament Meeting talk.
Does anyone know of a reference approving or restricting this practice?
I would be interested in an official statement.
