I was glad to see this note. I ran into corrupt file problems using several copies of the Scriptures CD-ROM edition (1.1).
One disk, I figured, could have gotten scratched, but several? And the problem didn't show up on all machines - only on newer CD-ROM drives.
I finally ended up copying the files (on a machine that could read it) to another machine and burning my own copy of the installation disk.
Works perfectly.
The problem is apparently in the disk reproduction - bad master or something.
