I sounds like you need to call SLC and reset the passwords. Every time you send and receive, it sets a new password and records it in SLC and on your machine so that only your machine can do the send and receive. It is thinking that your machine is not the authorized ones as it does not match the password that they have.

Subject: LDSC: Installing MLS 5.5 on new Optiplex 740 systems
>From LDSClerks: Please see bottom of this message for subscription instructions and list URL.
I sincerely apologize if this question has been asked and answered on
this list already... I did some reading of older messages and could
not find an answer.
I am an Assistant Stake Clerk (tech specialist) and I've been asked to
install the MLS 5.5 with the 4 CD's, etc., etc. Anyway, we also just
received brand new Optiplex 740 machines and the image from the 4 CD's
does not recognize the CD-ROM hardware on this system. The system is
not listed on the supported systems in the installation instructions.
One of my tech savvy ward clerks contacted SLC and they told him to
just install MLS on the system without using the image on the 4 disks.
They said that a new anti-virus package was going to be rolled out in
a few weeks.
To make a very long story short, I installed MLS with the existing
image from Dell and got MLS up and running. The CLERK account can
access MLS; however, during send & receive, we get the following error:
"A security failure has occurred. Please contact the Church
Administration Office serving your area."
I was planning on calling SLC on this but wanted to run it by this
list first. Any comments or suggestions? I'm suspecting that send &
receive either notices that no anti-virus software is running or that
it doesn't see the "official" image... but I don't have an alternative
choice with this new hardware!
Thanks,
-James
P.S. on a completely unrelated note, is there a way to RSS subscribe
